[s-cars] Help! Bad wear line on the front tires!

I was changing wheels on my 1993 S4 today, and noticed a HUGE wear line on
the inside edge of the front tires! It is all the way around the inside edge of
both front tires, about 1/2 inch in from the edge of the tire on the inside.
It wore through the tread and is now smooth in this area.

I try to keep them inflated to 37 lbs in front, could it be the tire
pressure?

Other facts are, the tires are oversized (245's), and the car does quite a
bit of tramlining. The car has not been substantially lowered, although it does
have 1992 S4 springs.   Finally, I do not know when the last alignment was
completed.

Anyone have any ideas? I am thinking it need an alignment...
