Hi Bill;

This problem on my '94 S4 was caused by corroded terminals in the female
connector. I had to replace the terminal set - they were too badly corroded
to clean.

Subject: [s-cars] brake pad warning

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed in the past. My brake pad
warning keeps displaying and staying on. I checked the pads, there about
half worn, so I check the wires from pads, they check out ok. My ?: Does the
diagnostic device need to be reset to make this annoying light from going
off? Is it normal for them to start the warning process with this much pad
left.

Thanks for your help with this one.
