Lately I have been experiencing an intermittent problem on startup.
Maybe
once a week when I start the car, it will barely run, bucking away at
300-500 rpm, belching out white smoke.  Usually this only lasts for a
few
seconds, but Saturday it lasted about a minute.  Only happens on cold
start.
Smoke smells like fuel.  Once the problem goes away, no more problem for
the
duration of the drive.  I have noticed that my exhaust tips are black
and
sooty.  Any ideas?
