I have a question about a leak that I have just noticed in my coolant
manifold. It appears that the coolant is coming out of a brass fitting
for a small metal pipe that feeds into the engine block. It is right up
at the front of the engine bay... right beneath the part of the coolant
manifold that has the large return hose going back to the overflow tank.
What is involved in removing/repairing this fitting, it appears that the
fuel injector manifold is somewhat in the way. But since it is right up
at the front it looks like there might be a way to work on it without
removing all of that stuff on top of it?
What is typically needed in doing this job as far as replacement parts or
special tools or procedures.
Thanks,
Brent Henry
