[s-cars] Bose Stereo meltdown!

Well, after dealing with the misfireing engine Friday and Sat morning and
replacing the timing belt on Sat afternoon and Sunday morning, my right
front amplifier fried while out on a test drive!.  I checked the archives
and found http://www.carstereohelp.com/audi.htm which shows where the
amplifiers are located where to get replacement parts.  I remembered that my
wife's car came with 3/4 of a bose system as spare parts since the previous
owner replaced the whole system after one of the speakers fried.  I swapped
the fried amp in my car with the remaining good spare amp and the problem
was solved.  I also discovered that the output on my rear amp was very low,
so I swapped the amp in my car with the spare rear amp and now I have a
fully functional system!

I love it when I can fix something for free!
