I can't speak for smokns4, but Bilstien Sports are for lowering springs and Bilstien HD's are for stock springs.

Even though the '92 S4 springs are stiffer and may yield a slightly lower ride height than your later S6's stock springs, they still aren't lowering springs and therefore I would say that you should use Bilstien HD's.

'smokns4'?  and with 92 springs do you use Bilstein Sport shocks?
