S-Car Crew,

And I promised myself I wasn't going to step in this one . . .

In my youngers days (B.C. (before children)) I attended multiple PCA
driver's ed events in a 911 (Watkins Glen & Lime Rock Park) and a 944
(Seattle International Raceway & Portland International Raceway). You
know the dity - love, marriage, baby carriage . . . Well, all of that
won't all fit in a Porsche, so I moved to Audis. I modified my '91 200
TQA and I've tracked it at Spokane Raceway Park. The 200 sure as heck
ain't no P-Car, but I've tracked it for the same reason I tracked the
P-Cars: to learn more about the handling dynamics and limits of the
car; to learn more about the combination that is me and the car; and
most importantly TO HAVE FUN. Hey, I get floor it, tear through turns,
stand on the brakes and regularly exceed most of the posted speed limits
I usually have to take into account. Bonus Time! No blue lights, no
tickets, and no license points. WOAH, MAJOR FUN. Like Hap, me and the
200 stay within our limits, but even within the limits, I'm still
grinning from ear to ear and for me, that's what it's all about.

My $.02
