[s-cars] Clutch Gave up the ghost: What should I buy? Who should I buy from? (Read: Coloradans know of any mechanics?)

Hey guys,
My clutch gave up the ghost while I was trying to shift into second
gear. It was very sudden without any warning. The clutch pedal felt
very soft (mine was very stiff, as those who have driven it can attest
to). The pedal still comes up, and it's not stuck on the floor.
I was able to nurse it back home. I had enough engagement to keep it in
first and drive the way back home. When I arrived, it smelled like
burnt clutch.
Dave(Dawson) suggested that I get a new centerforce clutch. I think I
might, but is it that much of an improvement over a Sachs Clutch Kit? I
really don't know. Also, should I be replacing anything else? Would
getting a new clutch kit alleviate my clutch's stiffness as well? Do I
need to concern myself with replacing the master and slave cylinders?
It sucks not being able to drive:-/
Thanks,
Paul
