Does anyone know the weight of the OEM Speedline 6 Spoke Avus rims (16x7.5) ?

Are adjustable camber plates necessary if you lower these cars? The PO of mine replaced springs with H&R's.  I think Andersen has a kit (+-$500) that doesn't require any modifications, they just bolt right in. Anyone have any experience with these, or anyone elses?

Brakes:
I've heard Big Reds (993TT) calipers allow for replacement of pads without removing any caliper to bracket mounting bolts. True?
Do the monoblock designs of the 996 and Boxster (986) also allow for this ease of replacement?
Is it worth the +-$400 to go from a 996 kit to a 993TT Big Red Kit?
