I replaced the ignition switch today ... that was my first guess.

Starter ... getting ready to pull that SOB now...


Keep the advice coming, I definitely would hate to have to take her to the
dealer...

    S-listers,

    I let a bud borrow my car and when he came out of the store, the car
would not start....similar to the previous no start thread.  Everything on
the car works, but when you turn the key to start, NOTHING ... the start
does not even turn.

    Of consequence, my auto-theft will not trigger, either.  I know the
system works by disabling the starter by not providing current to the
solenoid/starter ... where is the relay that controls this?  How do I reset
it (and no, just locking and unlocking the car with a key does not fix the
problem).

    I have Pro-Diag, if that helps, but no menu for "theft deterrent
system."

    ...or has the starter the culprit?

    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
