[s-cars] Idling rich what to do?

Hi Guy's

As a testament to how slow the Canadian- USA boarder crossings are these days
my car starts to blow a lot of black smoke out after idling for 30 minutes
plus which is about 2/3 of the time it took me to get to the booth with the
friendly US customs agent. This happened once a year and a half ago and again last
night. Huge black cloud of smoke.

The car has an MTM chip

1) Should I be concerned with my car running this rich at idle?

2) Has anyone else had this happen? and what have you done to fix it?
