[s-cars] Brake Options?

to echo the sentiments of others - indeed this makes a difference
I did it to our 95.5 S6 Avant (993TT calipers, RS2 brackets, 993TT
rotors w/ BIRA hats)
as to the options you mention...
993TT - uses Audi RS2 bracket, can use A8 or S8 rotors, or 993TT rotors
w/ custom (BIRA, others) hats, fits beneath Avus 16" wheels
996TT - custom brackets, can use A8 or S8 rotors, or 996TT rotors
w/ custom hats, requires 17" or greater wheels
Wilwood, Alcon - racing brakes, limited pad choices, custom hats,
rotors,
expen$ive, dust seals not designed for everyday conditions, must rebuild
regularly, high maintenance
