Sounds logical - I will pass it on.  Distributor's are like hen's teeth
but I believe the factory has some for owners purchase only.

My friend Norbert had similar problems with his SQ.
Spark Plug cables and other electrical components were changed (included
rare distributor) and the problem was solved.

And no, I will not ask to have the car for one year !!!!
