[s-cars] E85? Conversion?

Hi all,

After finally gettting caught up with the TiVo in regard to MotorWeek
episodes I noticed that they had backtoback features on E-85 (Ethanol
fuel) and its benefits. Living in CA I don't see too much of the stuff
and was sort of listening until they mentioned that E85 has a 105-Octane
rating! Well, I perked right up and was enthralled. At the end they
noted which vehicles were currently being manufactured that could either
use normal fuel or E85 or any mic thereof. Presently, none appeared to
be turbo- or super-charged. I was curious as to what components
actually differed from normal vehicles and is this the kind of thing
that is feasible to change or not really possible. I would imagine that
it would be nice to have the option to use E-85 if that octane rating
really is correct as well as the cost being lower (in some parts of the
country at least).

Has anyone else thought about this or is there something that I either
missed or they didn't talk about that makes this a big no-go besides the
likely cost.
