Hello chaps,
My annual inspection has just shown that I've got a split CV joint boot
(front left outer). I presume the replacement method is the same as on
the old 100 (5000 in the US). I can't remember how much of the
suspension I've got to dismantle - do I need to disconnect the anti-roll
bar (sway bar in the US) and the tie rod and the lower control arm? I
remember years ago on a VW Passat being able to remove the drive shaft
without disconecting any of those things.
Should I replace the hub nut (or is it a bolt these day?).
I'd be grateful for any BTDTs.
