[s-cars] NAC - cable modem vs DSL question

I have had 2 dsl services in the past year.  Verizon was 768k $35/mo and
pretty good.  A local company that I have now is 1500k and is $29/mo.  Solid
speed at a great price.  The new DSL that uses an existing phone line is way
better than the older dsl.  Cable modems are taboo in my parts.  Lots of
downtime and mor expensive.
