Not to digress too far from the topic, but I have determined that at
about 0.5 bar there is a boost air leak under the car.  It sounds like
driving through a shallow puddle -- presumably why I didn't notice it
until it was sufficiently dry out.  The likely cause is the plastic
crossover tube; I will check this weekend.  Each end attaches to a Samco
hose, so I don't think it is a split in a hose.
