I can find nothing that says that the HTR-ZII is discontinued- nothing
of the sort on Tire Rack's or Sumitomo's website.

I'm happy with the HTR-ZII, but I find that the Dunlop SP9000 is a
better
rain tire and a bit quieter. The Yokohama AVS Sport is an excellent
dry and wet tire as well, but they get quite noisy over time.

I'm not impressed with Kumho 712s, but everything I hear about the MX
makes
it sound like the tire to get. For the Porsche, I'd get the MX.
