[s-cars] DIY Boost control

The ECU will still cut off fuel and or ignition at a predetermined amount of
boost after a predetermined amount of time.
I have battled with this with my Stage 3 software, and the solution was to
wind out my waste gate spring.

If you do get into a situation where the ecu no longer controls the WGFV or
it doesn't control it properly and you get this cut out, you will notice
that you will no longer be able to pull much boost at all. You can fix this
my restarting the car.
This was the good old 100 MPH reboot, as I always had to do it in 3rd at 100
MPH. Imagine why :)
But, what you will really need to do is reset the ecu. Since these ECU's
adapt to engine conditions, it will remember the overboost condition and the
next one will occur at a lower boost level.

I now have a special switch on the dash to drop all power to the ecu so I
don't loose all the memory setting in the whole car.

Ok, a bit winded of a post but WTH.

I've seen this design posted a few time. Main problems: if your car
start pinging, you're on your own. If the altitude or rpm is too high
and the turbo over-spin, you're on your own. In summary, no safety. It
may cost you a turbo or an engine. No BTDT, though, but I don't think
I'll ever BTDT.
