Just a quick note.

I saw some law enforcement yesterday on a stretch of road that I know many
of us drive, so I thought I'd provide a heads up.

Massachusetts - Route 84 westbound approaching the MA/CT border. You know
the stretch, no place for the law to hide, a small rest stop...

In all the years I've driven this road, I've never seen any enforcement
along this particular stretch.

Yesterday, two of MA's finest were out by that rest stop, with laser and a
bright red Firebird chase vehicle.

I just happened to be doing 70 or so when they lit me up...I'm not sure they
were looking at me, since I was in the slow lane and other cars were
immediately ahead of me in other lanes. I saw them before they lit me up and
did get 10 mph off the speedo.

Now if they had seen me about 30 seconds earlier, *that* would have been a
different story. Something told me to slow down, *way* down for that
particular stretch...
