Calling all silver Audi owners.

The silver Avant is starting to show the typical "cloudiness" in portions of
the paint.  Waxing will hide it somewhat for a few days, but at the right
angle, it still looks terrible.  I do not want to use any type of harsh
polishing or rubbing compound unless the consensus is that the defect lies in
the surface of the clearcoat, not the color coat. Any BTDT.  Thanks in
advance.
