Taka: With due respect, I must disagree with you about the
aggressiveness of a clay bar vs. a paint cleanser/polish. Please see the

both. And I am sure there are many other sources on the Web that will
confirm the same points. Claybars are not very aggressive in comparison
to Cleansers and Polishes. Regarding Rubbing Compound, most of the
products on the market today are designed for and are safe to use on
Clear Coat finishes. However, like any other product, then user must
read the label and follow the directions in order to get the desired
results.

A clay bar basically chops down any paint that is not uniform, removes
far more paint than
any other method mentioned. Primarily properly used to remove overspray,
which is the
original purpose.
If you can wait until the end of the month, I can make my tools and
equipment available to
you when I move down to your neck of the woods.
