[s-cars] Help: battery drain

I installed HID kit a few days ago and since then I have battery drain.
Coincidence?
I put a test light between + batt post and + batt cable and it lights. Should
it do that? I pulled every fuse and the light stayed on. Disconnected the HID
kit and  the test light still lights. HID works properly. Also installed
different battery. Any ideas?
