When MB installed the 600 twin-turbo engine in its car they uses the
2.62 rear end as compared to the 2.82 rear end on the 55 kompressor
engined car. I believe they do this so that the 600 engined cars do
not spank the AMG cars with the 55K engine.
A swap to the 2.82 rear end from the 2.62 rear end on the 600 engined
cars would enable the car to out-accelerate the 55K cars
