[s-cars] ETKA install on ME system

All,

I recently purchased both the US and EU ETKA's.  The EU was V6 and the US
V5.  I am attempting to install on a Dell PC running Windoze ME.  The EU
version installed straight away.  The US version has not been successful to
this point.  It appears to install (takes forever), but when I try to run
it, I get a message saying "suchandsuch file not a valid something" (working
from memory here, system is at home and I am at work).

I go looking for named file and find something with 0 bytes in the program
folder.  Look on the CD in the Win95 folder and see appropriate file, but
when I try to copy it over, the system says it can't find the file - that
maybe it has been deleted or moved.  WTF?

Any BTDT's out there that can give me a suggestion?
