[s-cars] Help! Short somewhere draining battery

Dave,

You need to get a multimeter capable of measuring current. Put this in-line
with the battery cable the same way you have put the light in line with the
battery cable. Make sure all lights etc., including interior lights, are
off. Look at the current. It should be less than 50 mA. If it is not
start removing fuses and then relays one by one and note when it drops
significantly. This will tell you where your drain is coming from. If it
does not drop with this procedure then your short is somewhere on an
unfused/relayed line. Hope this helps.

Subject: [s-cars] Help! Short somewhere draining battery

My battery drains completely in a few hours. I've disconnected the + batt
terminal and the battery remains charged. Disconnected the power from the
HID kit
I just installed and it still drains. Test light between + batt cable and +
batt terminal is very bright. Pulled all fuses I can find and it still
glows.
How can I track this down? Everything on the car works properly.
thanks,
