> The K26/6 hotside won't really allow more than 375hp. It seems to me that for a 2.2 liter motor, the RS2 coldside or an RS2 like hybrid coldside (k24 housing, or modified K26 housing with a 48mm opening) is the best bet on a K26 # 6 on a 2.2 liter. The K26 #8 should flow to 425hp, but it is pretty laggy, esp with a monster coldside like a K27, again, when mated to a 2.2 liter. Problem as I see it is that our beloved 2.2 liter can handle in excess of 400hp, but there really aren't any great ways to deliver it w/o sacrificing low-end grunt. You really need 1.) more displacement, or 2.) a custom turbo. Scott J of QshipQ fame pointed this out a few years ago, but I wasn't paying attention at the time.
