yup that was me.  Did you get new wheels, I thought you had the stock Avus.

As to the paint, I used some 3M polishing compound with a random orbital,
which worked fairly well.  Ultimately, however, new clearcoat may be required
as the "cloudiness" is apparently deep.  Also, with vinylex on the tires and
clean 17" wheels, almost any car looks good.
