A few months ago the warning buzzer in my car went bad. It was removed by the
PO as it was buzzing at all times when the car was on.
I replaced the warning buzzer this weekend. It worked as it should have for
about half a day, then came on suddenly and stayed on. After turning the car
off and leaving it sit for a while, when the car is started it works as it
should, then will buzz consistently after a few miles. I took it back out today...
I also noticed that the seat belt light was only partially lit when I started
the car after I put the buzzer in yesterday. I never noticed it working at
all before. When I took the buzzer relay out today, the seat belt light does not
work at all when the car is started...
So, my question is, is the buzzer relay bad, or does it have something to do
with the seat belt light only working partially? Maybe a seat belt warning and
not a bad relay? What do you guys think?
I get way too caught up in making everything in the car work, I know....
