Konstantine,

Try heating up the cast area of the knuckle with a small propane torch.  Get it pretty hot.  The shitty propane torch will not get it red hot but hot enough.  Once it is hot just hit it with a hammer.  Not the threaded part of the link, but the cast part of the knuckle that the link slides through.  It will work.  Trust me.  I have done it.  Also,  A puller and heat will work.  But usually just heat and some 3 lb hammer action.
