[s-cars] Installing Strut Tower Cross Brace on '92 S4?

I have a 93' CAD S4 which has both the strut brace and the extendable hood
shock.
I have no interference problems with it at all.
Perhaps you are putting it on wrong ?
It goes to the rear of the strut towers, and covers the POS and wring cover.
