Mark,

Thanks for the feedback, I would be interested in seeing a photo of your
'93 set up. The car that I removed the brackets from ('95 S6) had the bar
at the front edge of the strut towers. I was thinking that if I switched
the right and left brackets that I might be able to run the bar at the
rear edge of the towers, but the angles did not work out correctly?

Regarding the hood lifters, I have heard that moving the mounting position
on the fender is quite simple, as the mounting bracket is accessible from
inside the fender-well and a new hole can be drilled to position the mount
in such a place that it does not interfere with the bracket.

I have also found out that I need to replace the brake fluid reservoir
with a newer model, which has a different offset for the filler cap. As
it sits now, the bar would run right over the filler cap!

Brent.

I have a 93' CAD S4 which has both the strut brace and the extendable hood
shock.
I have no interference problems with it at all.
Perhaps you are putting it on wrong ?
It goes to the rear of the strut towers, and covers the POS and wring
cover.

I can take a picture of mine if you need me to.
