Vincent,
The illustration in the FA shows the additional panels for the diesel
engine. The AAN application only uses the front panel shown, and
indeed has 5 metal fasteners and 4 plastic fasteners. I don't know what
happened to the front two in the FA, but you really do need them.
There was a change in '95 from the metal fasteners shown in the
illustration with the 1/4 turn speed screw with separate metal washer
to a speed screw with integral washer on head. The dzus receptacle is
also changed so new style fasteners will require new receptacle clips
also. The notation under the part description F>> 4A-S- 100 001*
indicates after serial number...
My numbers are 4A0-805-121 (PIN), 8D0-805-960 ( SPEED NUT),and
4A0-805-137 (RETAINER WASHER).
You will also notice on the Ru etka that both speed nuts have the same
part no. for 10 and (10) for both sides of the break in vehicle serial
number but they are physically different in size. The new pins are
larger and will not go in the smaller hole of the older speed nut clip.
I can probably match up a set (no rubber retainer washers) or two of
old ones, but you need to look for where you are missing fasteners to
determine how many you really need and if your pins have separate metal
washers under the head. Yeah, one fastener is scary !
I am unsure of the plastic pin and retainer part numbers.
