Hap,

I want to use them on another car and 18" is minimum I can go with,
255/40/18. Potholes are issue, heavy car does not help .....(have 17" bbs RK
II's on Avant for 150k mile with no problems)

I have a set of SSR Comps in 17x8.5 that I use for the track. These are
great wheels that are very strong. If pot holes are an issue where you live
I would highly recommend the 17" size. You can really use that extra side
wall to soften the blow. I run 255-40/17 Victoracers on these rims.
