As much as I dislike black cars, the S8 looks like a million bux in that 
particular colour. Besides, I never owned a black car in my life.

That was my original idea. In early 2002 I came across a complete //S8 
drivetrain in Russia (from the crankshaft pulley to the rear diff) 
offered at a price I am embarrassed to post that how low it was.
A used American 97 A8 at that time was sold at $30k on the average. It 
was a mucho tempting proposition, especially given the fact that I have 
a 2.5 car garage with the 12 foot ceiling and enough tools to re-shell 
the whole car.
And then, in March 2002, I got laid off...
