[s-cars] I'm hosed, a/k/a Samco GP

You could try calling ECS who I think was the vendor on this GP.
As an aside, I'm not convinced that the Samco hoses are all that much
better than *new* stock hoses. I have 2 new stock hoses (turbo>x-over
and x-over>IC) and with a chipped ECU for almost a year, I have had no
problems. I recently picked up a used Samco for the IC>t-body and
installed it. I find that it tends to slip off the t-body flange and
requires the clamp to be very tight - to the point of overtightening.
Also, it seemed too long and when first installed it was slightly kinked
in the middle, reducing the cross-sectional area, hence causing a flow
restriction. I trimed about 1/2 inch of the small end and it seemed to
fit better. I'm considering going back to the old stock hose and
replacing that with a OEM one.
Any others had this issue?
Thanks,
Sean
