Hi all,
Today was my first track day with the FMIC and HRSB. The intercooler stayed
cold even though my oil temps didn't. Time to get my Mocal oil cooler hooked
up. The Swabar transformed the car. It was very neutral feeling and very
predictable. I am very very happy with both new mods. Now for something I know I'm
gonna get sh*! about. For the last year with all the new mods going on my boost
levels have been a bit low and I have looked everywhere to solve this. My SW
is written for 26psi and with a stiffer WG spring turned down six turns I was
only seeing 24psi. Well today at the track I looked down at the boost gauge to
see it at its usual 24psi and then all at once jump to 30psi.The highest I
saw on that run was where psi is written after 30 on the autometer gauge, I
think that would be between 32 and 33lbs of boost. The boost gauge itself was
sticking at 24 until then. For the rest of the event it work normal and I had to
back the WG spring way back to settle it down to around 27psi. Thank god for
the pauder rods or I'm afraid I might have had major problems. I plan to replace
the gauge as soon as I get back from my trip to Florida, I leave at 6am so
will not be around until next weekend. Thanks to Greg for pulling this together
at the last minute. It was a great time.

Elijah
