I bet it is camber link(s). I would recommend to look at rubber (or
polyurethane) boots of both links and if they are not torn than I would
take them, took apart, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled. Most
likely it will save you buying new links. I did it on 2.5 cars and it
is good after 30Kmi (both links on two 200tq and 1 link on UrS4 )
If at least one boot torn ( most likely outer) then I would use
temporary solution - lubricating through needle, puncturing the boot
far most from crack. You can have a quiet ride for a month or two.
I actually got a link with good outer boot from a junk yard and used
the boot on my original link as it was in better shape.

Caveat: you need a good, compact ball joint puller on S4/S6. I could
not find any puller which might work on on it. I almost bought it from
Snap-on for ~$100 but I was able to borrow it from friendly shop for a
night. Type 44 (200tq) has slightly different geometry of wheel arc,
probably, and I was able to used plain pitman arm puller.

Have doubts? Sqiuirt WD 40 on the outer end of the links and go over
bumps. Forget what I wrote if it still chirps.

Konstantin.
