[s-cars] hit raccoon, lost front passenger side corner of bumper

I lost the front passenger side corner of my bumper last night, what is located in this corner, will the car be ok to drive a few days untill fixed, or should I not?  it's about 1/4 of my bumper, from below headlight around to the fender well.  drove away then stopped and called police, turned off car and waited, 15 minutes later I restarted and the idle was iratic, bouncing between 800-1200 rpms, but drove normal, thats why I wonder if I should drive it, is anything vital in that corner?
also can anyone point me in the right direction to a replacement bumper, maybe even euro.
