Elijah,

You might want to check the wiring to your WGFV - I had similar 
"intermittent 30 psi boost" incidents during One Lap 2002 - and in the end 
the best thing I could trace it down to was the WGFV wiring / connector - 
we eliminated all other possibilities (WGFB itself, Wastegate, hoses, etc etc)
