The idea of a volunteer fund raiser is very good. Even if it is an
individual basis.

I am not sure what level Darin needs, but I would guess 5 figures, 20K
-30K?

I spoke to Darin via cell last week.
He's trying to make it work out, and keep the site live.

That's why he's pushing to sell the engine.

Best way for us to help Darin, is to find buyers for the hardware he
wants to liquidate. And/or make more donations via Paypal.

As far as press release, that's up to him.
He has received a lot of supporting email from this user list, And some
luminaries like Joe Hoppen.
