Greetings,

I have this problem for a few months and have finally decided to get my 
butt.  I have a HID kit installed in my 97 S6 (ballasts, etc.) with the 
ballasts powered directly by the alternator with 5amp inline fuses.  I 
plan to run these to the fuse box at some point, but, right now it 
works.

The strange issue is if the CD changer is playing when I turn on the 
headlights, the CD player stops.  I have to hit "MODE" twice or turn 
off/on the stereo and the player gets going again.

Any idea on what to do about that?
