It looks like both of the t-stats in the photo are 87deg units.
Installation instructions for the t-stat states that the bar/strap should be
in the vertical orientation. If you have to install the new ones with the
check valve up, that would place the bar horizontally. So, which takes
precedence? I would imagine most folks will be installing them with the bar
vertically (check valve in the 3 or 6 o'clock position) based on the
instructions in the Bentley.
