[s-cars] Even more Eibach/Bilstein Sport thoughts - postmortem?
perhaps not...

So I have received and installed the ECS widgets (20mm rings) for my
too-low-ass syndrome. Initial impressions were favorable. The rear of the
car now sits infinitesimally higher than the front. Looks are improved and
bottoming out on every speedbump is no longer guaranteed. Unfortunately... I
am still not happy. Raising the rear seems to have transferred more weight
to the front. As a result, the front end seems to be more compressed than it
was before, plowing more and feeling more harsh than it did before.
I am now considering putting the original '92 springs back on the car.
I swear if I had known that I would have to buy and install a separate
widget to get this crap to work right, I would have bought something else,
or nothing.
Just to say something favorable in this post in hopes of it not totally
sounding like a rant: I drove Evan's S4 with the Bilstein Sports and H&R
race springs, and I thought it rode great. It looked like it was about the
same height mine is with my widgets in place.
