Gents,
Last night Brendan and Doug of Apikol had the opportunity to
install their short-shifter kit on my 92 UrS with the Procon-10 Safety
System! The install didn't seem to painful and looks like it could be
done on with some jack stands and long socket extensions. Took them
about 20-25 minutes from start to finish. Coming from a 2001.5 S4 w/ a
UUC SS at 30%..this was a mod I had to do.

The results:
	- WOW...probably reduced the throw by nearly 30% (although they
publish 15% it feels like more)
	- Linkage feels much more positive not soft like before...almost
gate like..I might say.
	- Much more crisp shifting in all gears
	- Quicker Shifts when running through the gears quickly (which I
never do) ;-)

If you are looking for a mod to help out w/ the long squishy throws of
the OEM linkage and shifter I highly recommend this.

Oh BTW...they were also putting together one of their FMIC's and
plumbing which would be probably ready to ship this week if you are
looking for a weekend project? ;-)
