Bob: Mine just did the same thing two weeks ago - just before a trip to
Kamloops on the Coquihalla in 35 deg C plus weather.  I got mine from VM
Autohaus, like Gabriel suggested.  I paid CDN$160 ish.  

I took Fred Munro's advice about using two 6" (or 8") needle nose vice
grips to gently but firmly clamp off the inlet and outlet hoses.  Worked
great. Only dribbled a bit. 15 min job.

There has to be a non-dealer place in Edmonton that deals VW/Audi
parts.  If not call VM (60-298-9637).  Tell them I sent you.
