Buy one of each and try them all... and don't forget ammonia, and 
phosphoric acid (coca cola).

The reasoning behind using these, in general, is that WD-40 isn't 
actually designed for the job of loosening rusted fasteners.  But you 
probably heard that from the folks recommending the above products.
