KB14 is the recall code for 1994 Audi 100, S4 and called for
replacement parts ignition switch 8A0 905 851L. "Replace ignition
switch, wash/vacuum vehicle; provide loaner, if necessary" They won't
do vehicles outside the VIN range or pay for duplicate repairs, but
"Dealers are to service each vehicle subject to this recall regardless
of mileage, age of the vehicle or selling dealer, from this time
forward."
Now, given all that, there have been reports of replacement switches
having suffix codes varying from the above and the "J" for S6 models
with resulting radio power different than before the change. Hope this
confuses things enough ?
