Thanks Hap. And FWIW, at 400 to 500 to 600 cfm of typically ambient air,
depending on what adjustments, if any one makes for compression to reduce
volume, the intake air charge exiting a 2.4" FMIC feed is traveling
something like between 212 to 265 to 318 ft/sec, or between 145 to 217 miles
per hour.
If in fact the 145 ~ 200 mph range is correct, I think it kinda puts a
different shine on locating a front nacelle on the charge air rows.

Strong finisher??? Deign??? I still can't figure out if you're givin me
dahkine or Dahkine. Anyway, you know I ain't gonna let no stinkin end tanks
get in my way. I did have a nice talk with Dave Stone last night. He says
you're FMIC was on his workbench being modified even as we spoke. Is that
your original one? You do move quickly my friend. And yes, I have to agree,
somewhat reluctantly, that your speed computations are rather spot on OLD
chap.
Hap, talkin dahkine with Mikey in Evahboost, Maguire
