I would like to differ with you about the stock Fuchs 16x8 wheels. Another 
good reason to ditch these fine wheels would be to go with 17x8/8.5 to run a 
lower profile 40 series sized tire. I run OZ Sls in 17x8 for the summer at 16lbs, 
BBS RCs in 17x8 for the winter at 17lbs, and SSR Comps for the track at 
15.5lbs. They are a great wheel but I felt that the 50 series tires were too tall 
for the performance level of my car. I feel that the cutoff for performance vs 
weight on larger diameter wheels is somehwere in the 17-18 range. Another 
consideration is cost. I also feel that the cutoff for cost vs performance is 
right at the same 17-18 range. Anyway, that's what I think.
